Living Room after

Still some work to be done and always hopeful
that the dead animal heads will be removed to another room,
but at least they can sleep in here on these cold nights now.

Living room fire place before and after

This is the living room fireplace before.

This is the fireplace after.

Living Room during

Well, I know I have been absent for quite some time now.
It has been quite busy in my neck  of the woods.
The living room was completely gutted, insulated, and
the floors were stipped of a lot of paint.

The kids were troopers - most of the time -
cooking outside and not too many luxuries.

The roof looks great with the new tin on it and even
the new wood stove stack looks good.

Renovation reality!!!!

Everyone is hard at work renovating this old farm house.
I didn't get pics of everyone that is helping - I was busy too. :)

Most walls have been stripped back to the studs.
Some are in good condition.

Even the teenagers are helping with this one.

Some walls are in not so good condition.  The studs in this wall
downstairs are so damaged they look more like cardboard.

Obviously baby girl is wondering what she had done
and will it ever be over.

The best news is that all the hardwood floors are in
excellent condition although the house will need
to be leveled in spots by a professional.

The walls have been stripped down to the studs.
Now what do we do?
I don't see the light - Where is the light?

Baby's Breath or Lavendar

I never knew that Baby's breath could be so beautiful.
Here are the pictures that have inspired us for the upcoming wedding flowers.

On the other hand, I have always had a fondness for lavender and these pictures
only increased that fondness.

Can you see this church

with this decorating the entry.
